RESEARCH STUDY CAAN & the Dr. Peter Centre – INDIGENOUS HARM REDUCTION AND COVID-19

Are you a harm reduction service provider? Or are you First Nations, Inuit or Métis and use harm reduction services? Do you know how harm reduction programs, and Indigenous harm reduction programs have changed during COVID-19?

If you answered yes- CAAN and the Dr. Peter Centre are looking for participants in our research study. We are looking to identify how harm reduction programming has adapted during the COVID-19 pandemic. We are particularly interested in understanding access and availability of Indigenous harm reduction programs and services.

We are conducting 5 regional sharing circles over the month of May. CAAN Elder in Residence, Albert McLeod, will be present to ground the circles, alongside the research coordinators. The sharing circles will be held at 1 pm local time and will be approximately 1-1.5 hours long. Participants will receive $30 in honorarium to thank you for your time. Please see the attached poster for the list of dates and times.

If you are interested in participating or would like more information, please reach out to Caterina () or Savannah ().
